About This Place

Located in the heart of Corona, California, Golden Chopstix is a standout Chinese restaurant that has carved a special place among locals craving authentic, flavorful Asian cuisine. From the moment you step inside their cozy, clean space at 1312 E Ontario Ave #107, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere — perfect for casual meals with family or friends.

The culinary offerings at Golden Chopstix are masterfully crafted, showcasing a diverse menu that delights shrimp lovers and classic Chinese food enthusiasts alike. Their shrimp à la carte options, such as the Spicy Green Bean Shrimp, Mongolian Shrimp, and Kung Pao Shrimp, are all priced at a reasonable $14.99 and vibrantly packed with bold, mouthwatering flavors. Each dish carries a unique punch — whether it’s the fiery spice of the Kung Pao or the savory richness of Shrimp with Lobster Sauce — all delivering freshness and perfectly balanced seasoning.

One cannot talk about Golden Chopstix without mentioning the beloved Happy Meal that satisfies both kids and picky eaters, and the admirable Cream Cheese Wonton that fans rave about for its crispy golden shell and luscious, velvety interior. The Lumpia rolls bring a crunchy, savory bite that pairs wonderfully with the accompanying sauces.

The combination plates offer fantastic value, letting guests sample multiple entrees like a 2, 3, or single entree plate ranging from $11.59 to $14.99. The customers especially appreciate dishes like the House Fried Rice or Chow Mein, expertly cooked with tender shrimp, chicken, or beef mixed with fresh vegetables — comfort food that’s hearty yet flavorful. The extensive menu also reveals a commitment to generous portion sizes, with many reviews noting the large servings, satisfying appetites without breaking the bank.

Golden Chopstix's famous Orange Chicken is a must-try highlighted in glowing reviews. Its batter is described as perfectly light and crunchy while keeping the chicken inside moist and flavorful, boasting a delightful hint of sweet orange glaze that beautifully complements their white rice — admittedly a touch on the mushy side but adored by those who prefer a softer texture. For anyone who has compared this recipe to chain counterparts like Panda Express, Golden Chopstix clearly wins in flavor and authenticity.

The staff at Golden Chopstix provide attentive, friendly service in a clean environment, making dining experiences smooth and enjoyable. Some patrons note a modest credit card fee, but it hardly overshadows the pride and care evident in both food and hospitality. Longtime visitors cherish the consistency and comfort, while new customers appreciate the helpful nature of the team, especially when navigating an extensive menu.

Whether you're craving the zesty heat of spicy orange chicken, the indulgent cream cheese wontons, or a fulfilling combo plate, Golden Chopstix delivers an experience that's both comforting and exciting. It’s clear this Corona staple continues to thrive by balancing generous portions, authentic tastes, and a welcoming vibe — making every meal memorable and worthy of a return visit.

The Five Stars is for The orange chicken, spicy and regular. Way better than panda. The batter is light and crunchy, The chicken inside is moist and taste like chicken. You get a nice hint of sweet orange flavor and it goes with their white rice which is a little bit on the mushy side, just the way I like it.

Decent portion size for decent price. Not too expensive. Taste is also pretty good. Staffs are good and the place is clean. They charge 59c for credit cards. Overall, a good place for Chinese food.

My family and I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. We have not been to this location I would say in the past 6 months up until 2 days ago. Not sure if they are new owners, but the food definitely is different and so is the service. We went on Memorial Day evening for dinner, there was not much left in terms of the spicy orange chicken and the fried rice. We were served what was left in the warmers and did not complain. I also ordered a fresh shrimp fried rice and Mongolian beef. Both of the rice dishes were very dry and hard (worse the next day) and the Mongolian lacked flavor. My son's tummy & mine were a little upset from the food as well, if you know what i mean... This is the 1st time I have EVER been disappointed here with the food. Not sure i will be going back...

Beef broccoli is the bomb! 1st time here and they kindly helped us with the orders. Didn’t see any family meals. Orange chicken good but little portions.

The Golden Chopstix in Corona is the best deal in town for Chinese food. The servings are massive, the prices are great, and the service is fast! By the way, the cream cheese wontons are gorgeous (and delicious).

Good Chinese food choices. Portions are worth their price. My only complaint is that you always have to ask for teriyaki sauce when you order teriyaki chicken. Also, the employees always seem to give you attitude when you ask for extra soy sauce or hot sauce (They only put ONE packet of each in the bag).
